MONSTERS TRADE FORWARD RYLAND MOSLEY TO ROCKFORD ICEHOGS
The AHL’s Cleveland Monsters announced Friday that forward Ryland Mosley was recalled from his loan to the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye and traded to the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs in exchange for future considerations. Mosley, who signed a one-year AHL contract with Cleveland on March 10, 2025 through the 2025-26 season, posted 1-0-1 with two penalty minutes in eight appearances for the Monsters this year, adding 5-2-7 and a +2 rating in 12 appearances for the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye, to whom he was loaned by Cleveland on February 14.
A 5’11”, 190 lb. left-shooting native of Arnprior, ON, Mosley, 26, registered 1-0-1 with two penalty minutes in 12 career AHL appearances for the Monsters spanning parts of the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. Mosley logged 54-62-116 with 68 penalty minutes in 165 career NCAA appearances for Michigan Tech (2020-24) and Wisconsin (2024-25) spanning five collegiate campaigns. Mosley helped Michigan Tech claim the 2023-24 CCHA Tournament Championship and was named to the 2022-23 CCHA First All-Star Team. Prior to his collegiate career, Mosley contributed 43-86-129 with 125 penalty minutes in 127 career CCHL appearances for the Carleton Place Canadians spanning parts of five seasons from 2015-20.
