
Monsters Community Foundation
The Monsters Community Foundation invests in organizations that directly support the health and well-being of at-risk populations in Northeast Ohio, and provide access to hockey in our community.
The Foundation gives priority consideration to proposals with a focus in the following areas:
- Providing access to the sport of hockey
- Health and well-being of youth
- Creating safe spaces to live, learn, work, and play
Grant Award Information
The Monsters Community Foundation is a part of the Cavaliers Community Foundation, and thus all applications will be reviewed by the Cavaliers Community Foundation Board for consideration.
A member of the Monsters Community staff will contact you. If an organization is awarded a grant, payment from the Foundation will be sent to the non-profit organization for the determined grant amount.
Grants are not available for:
• Organizations with less than three (3) active years as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity
• Individuals
• Private Foundations
• Public, Private, or Charter Schools
• Religious Institutions
• Government Institutions
• Staff Salaries
• Capital Projects
No, the Foundation does not fund general operating expenses.
All applicants will receive phone or email communication regarding the status of their application.
Yes, organizations may reapply six months from the date of decline.
Yes, all awarded organizations must submit a grant report. Reports will be sent out within the grant year for completion.
