KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- MILESTONE MAN: Cleveland co-captain, C Zac Dalpe, posted two points (1G, 1A) in the Monsters’ 5-6 road shootout loss to Toronto on Sunday, the 299th and 300th points of his professional career.
- LENDING A HAND: Cleveland’s other co-captain, LW Nathan Gerbe, is now the Monsters’ leading scorer with six points (6A) to his credit so far this season with five of those helpers supplied during Cleveland’s last three contests.
- PLUGGED IN: Cleveland scored three power-play goals in the team’s 5-6 road shootout loss to the Toronto Marlies on Sunday, a feat the organization has not achieved in nearly one calendar year. The last time the Monsters posted three extra-man tallies was in a 4-8 home loss to the Grand Rapids Griffins on November 4th, 2018.
