
Monsters Hit the Road to Rematch the Griffins
In the fourth of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Grand Rapids Griffins, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings, on Friday with full coverage, live from Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.
MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 6-2 home win over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday, the Cleveland Monsters enter today’s game at 23-23-2-2 on the season. With 50 points, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Adam Clendening (6-28-34), C Stefan Matteau (12-16-28) and LW Nathan Gerbe (8-17-25).
