
Monsters Begin Road Trip with a Battle in Binghamton
In the first of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Binghamton Devils, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, on Friday with full coverage, live from Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.
MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-4 home win over the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 17-15-1-2 on the season. With 37 points, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by LW Nathan Gerbe (8-17-25), D Adam Clendening (5-20-25) and C Stefan Matteau (9-11-20).
DEVILS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 4-3 road shootout win over the Rochester Americans on Wednesday, the Binghamton Devils enter tonight’s game at 14-17-4-0 on the season. With 32 points, the Devils currently rank eighth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Binghamton is currently led in scoring by C Ben Street (13-20-33), C Brett Seney (12-12-24) and RW Joey Anderson (8-15-23).
