Monsters Continue Road Trip to Hershey

In the first of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Hershey Bears, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Washington Capitals, on Saturday with full coverage, live from Giant Center in Hershey, PA, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network

 

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-5 road loss to the Binghamton Devils on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 17-16-1-2 on the season. With 37 points, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Adam Clendening (5-22-27), LW Nathan Gerbe (8-17-25) and C Stefan Matteau (9-11-20).

 

BEARS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-1 road shootout win over the Wikes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday, the Hershey Bears enter tonight’s game at 22-11-2-3 on the season. With 49 points, the Bears currently rank second in the AHL’s Atlantic Division standings and second in the Eastern Conference. Hershey is currently led in scoring by C Mike Sgarbossa (11-24-35), LW Matt Moulson (13-13-26) and C Brian Pinho (9-10-19).

 

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the first of four meetings between the Monsters and Bears this season and the first of two tilts between the two clubs at Giant Center this year.
