Game Preview: Monsters vs Senators 11/06

In the fourth of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Belleville Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, on Saturday with full coverage, live from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 AM “The Gambler”, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-6 home loss to the Belleville Senators on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 4-2-1-2 on the season. With a .611 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank fourth in the North Division standings and eighth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Jake Christiansen (3-5-8), LW Tyler Angle (0-8-8), and C Tyler Sikura (2-4-6).

 

SENATORS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 6-2 road win over the Cleveland Monsters on Friday, the Belleville Senators enter tonight’s game at 3-6-0-0 on the season. With a .333 points percentage, the Senators currently rank seventh in the North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Belleville is currently led in scoring by LW Jake Lucchini (6-4-10), RW Egor Sokolov (2-4-6), and RW Pontus Aberg (1-5-6).

 

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the fourth of four meetings between the Monsters and Senators this season (2-1-0-0) and the second of two games between the two clubs at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse this year (0-1-0-0). Cleveland currently boasts a +1 goal differential (8/7) overall vs. Belleville this year and a -4 goal differential (2/6) vs. the Senators at home.
