Game Preview: Monsters vs. IceHogs 03/15

In the fourth of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Rockford IceHogs, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks, on Tuesday with full coverage, live from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 “The Gambler”, AHLTV, and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 4-1 home win over the Rockford IceHogs on Sunday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 21-23-6-4 on the season. With a .481 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Jake Christiansen (8-25-33), C Brendan Gaunce (16-12-28), and LW Tyler Angle (7-21-28).

 

ICEHOGS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-4 road loss to the Cleveland Monsters on Sunday, the Rockford IceHogs enter tonight’s game at 23-23-3-1 on the season. With a .500 points percentage, the IceHogs currently rank fifth in the Central Division standings and 11th in the Western Conference. Rockford is currently led in scoring by LW Lukas Reichel (16-22-38), D Ian Mitchell (8-18-26), and C Dylan McLaughlin (6-19-25).
