Game Preview: Monsters at Senators 4/5

In the seventh of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Belleville Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, on Wednesday with full coverage, live from CAA Arena in Belleville, ON, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 “The Gambler”, AHLTV, and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 0-3 home loss to the Hershey Bears on Sunday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 29-29-5-2 on the season. With 65 standings points, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by RW Trey Fix-Wolansky (26-41-67), C Josh Dunne (20-16-36), and D David Jiricek (6-30-36).

 

SENATORS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-6 road loss to the Toronto Marlies on Sunday, the Belleville Senators enter tonight’s game at 28-30-6-3 on the season. With 65 standings points, the Senators currently rank sixth in the North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Belleville is currently led in scoring by RW Egor Sokolov (19-36-55), LW Jake Lucchini (17-33-50), and LW Angus Crookshank (25-19-44).
