Game Preview: Monsters at Senators 10/22

In the first of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Belleville Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, on Friday with full coverage, live from CAA Arena in Belleville, ON, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 AM “The Gambler”, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-4 home overtime win over the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 1-1-0-0 on the season. With a .500 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank sixth in the North Division standings and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by RW Carson Meyer (2-1-3), C Justin Scott (2-1-3), and D Jake Christiansen (1-2-3).

 

SENATORS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-2 home win over the Laval Rocket on Saturday, the Belleville Senators enter tonight’s game at 1-1-0-0 on the season. With a .500 points percentage, the Senators currently rank fourth in the North Division standings and ninth in the Eastern Conference. Belleville is currently led in scoring by LW Jake Lucchini (2-0-2), C Matthew Wedman (2-0-2), and RW Pontus Aberg (1-1-2).

 

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: Friday marks the first of four meetings between the Monsters and Senators this season and the first of two games between the two clubs at CAA Arena this year.
