
Game Preview: Monsters at Phantoms 12/11
In the first of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers, on Saturday with full coverage, live from PPL Center in Allentown, PA, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 AM “The Gambler”, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.
MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-3 road loss to the Utica Comets on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 10-7-2-3 on the season. With a .568 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank fourth in the North Division standings and sixth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Jake Christiansen (5-13-18), C Brendan Gaunce (7-9-16), and C Liam Foudy (6-9-15).
PHANTOMS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 3-5 home loss to the Charlotte Checkers on December 3rd, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms enter tonight’s game at 3-11-4-1 on the season. With a .289 points percentage, the Phantoms currently rank eighth in the Atlantic Division standings and 15th in the Eastern Conference.
