KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- GAUNCE’S GOALS: Cleveland C Brendan Gaunce is riding a two-game goal streak (4) and is scoring at a better than goal and point per game pace in his last four outings (5-1-6). Gaunce’s 14 goals rank tied for ninth most in the AHL this season and lead all Monsters skaters so far this year.
- HISTORIC HAT TRICKS: Saturday’s 7-3 home win over Rochester featured hat tricks for Monsters RW Trey Fix-Wolansky and Cleveland C Brendan Gaunce. The two forwards’ achievement marked the first game in franchise history in which more than one Monsters player registered three or more goals.
- THE FIX IS IN: Cleveland RW Trey Fix-Wolansky is currently riding a four game point streak (4-2-6) and his nine goals rank second-most among Monsters skaters this season.
