Game Preview: Monsters at Americans 3/26

In the fifth of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres, on Sunday with full coverage, live from Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY, underway at 3:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 “The Gambler”, AHLTV, and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 4-0 road win over the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, the Cleveland Monsters enter today’s game at 28-26-5-2 on the season. With 63 standings points, the Monsters currently rank fifth in the North Division standings and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by RW Trey Fix-Wolansky (26-41-67), C Justin Richards (10-25-35), and C Josh Dunne (19-15-34).

 

AMERICANS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-0 road shootout win over the Utica Comets on Saturday, the Rochester Americans enter today’s game at 30-25-4-3 on the season. With 67 standings points, the Americans currently rank fourth in the North Division standings and tenth in the Eastern Conference. Rochester is currently led in scoring by C Brandon Biro (15-35-50), LW Lukas Rousek (15-33-48), and LW Brett Murray (19-21-40).
