What do you enjoy most about working with the Monsters: Collaborating with outstanding, creative colleagues, getting to know Cleveland's devoted hockey fans, and being the lens through which Monsters fans experience the thrills and excitement of AHL hockey.
What is you favorite memory from working in sports: While nothing can touch Oliver Bjorkstrand's Calder Cup OT winner in 2016, other great Monsters memories include Zach Werenski's overtime goal in Game 6 of the 2016 Central Division Finals, Lukas Sedlak's Game 4 double OT winner in the 2016 Western Conference Finals, the Monsters' roller-coaster ride to the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals, and getting to describe the Cleveland careers of franchise icons like Trey Fix-Wolansky, Jet Greaves, Justin Scott, Jake Christiansen, Brett Gallant, Trent Vogelhuber, Brad Thiessen, and so many other outstanding players.
Favorite sports teams other than the Monsters: Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings, Syracuse Orange, UVM Catamounts
Favorite thing to do on an off day: Spend time with my wife and son who sacrifice a lot during long AHL seasons
Favorite restaurant in Cleveland: Flour on Chagrin Blvd. and SOM in Moreland Hills, LJ Shanghai in Asiatown, Pizzaria DeLauro in Chagrin Falls, Il Rione on West 65th
What is an interesting fact about you: I am a longtime guitar player, inspired by legends like Doc Watson, Tony Rice, Leo Kottke, Billy Strings, Trey Anastasio, Jerry Garcia, and many, many others.
Did you play any sports growing up: Hockey, lacrosse & golf
