Mike Murphy enters his first season as Head Equipment Manager for the Cleveland Monsters this 2025-26 season. Murphy joins the Cleveland organization after two seasons with the Everett Silvertips in Everett, Washington.

He also spent six seasons with the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda, five of those seasons as Head Equipment Manager. Murphy brings significant experience to this role, including previous experience working with the 2016-17 Commissioner’s Cup-winning Macon Mayhem, Canisius College Golden Griffins hockey (NCAA D1, 2014-16) and the Buffalo Beauts professional women’s hockey team (2015-16).

Murphy graduated from the University of New England in 2013, as well as earning a master’s degree in sports administration from Canisius College in 2016.
