About Jock
Jock Callander is entering his 18th season with the Cleveland Monsters organization and serves as Senior Vice President of Operations/Team Services. Since joining the Monsters in 2007, Callander has worked in hockey operations, team services, and community relations. He has also held roles as assistant coach and color analyst for the team.
Callander played 19 seasons of professional hockey as a center, appearing in 109 NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Bay Lightning. In the International Hockey League, he recorded 1,242 points in 1,054 games, primarily with the Muskegon and Cleveland Lumberjacks. He was a member of the 1992 Stanley Cup-winning Pittsburgh Penguins and has had his number retired by both the Lumberjacks and the Monsters.
Callander is originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, and played junior hockey with the Regina Pats before attending Providence College and starting his professional career in 1982.
