About Chris
Chris Clark is entering his sixth season as General Manager of the Cleveland Monsters and his 13th season with the Columbus Blue Jackets organization. He was named Director of Player Personnel for the Blue Jackets in June 2019 after serving in several player development roles.
Clark played 607 NHL games with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Washington Capitals, and Calgary Flames. He appeared in 89 games for Columbus from 2009-2011 and was team captain in Washington from 2006-2009. Clark was originally selected by Calgary in the third round (77th overall) of the 1994 NHL Draft and played four seasons at Clarkson University.
Clark has also served as general manager of the U.S. Men’s National Team at the 2023 IIHF World Championships and represented the U.S. as a player at the IIHF Men’s World Championship in 2002 and 2007.
