KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • CRITICAL PRODUCERS: Monsters forwards Zac Dalpe and Paul Bittner have proven important indicators for Cleveland’s offense in the early going this season. So far in 2018-19, the Monsters are 6-0-0-0 when Dalpe registers a point and 5-0-0-0 when Bittner does the same.
  • TERRIFIC TOP TRIO: The Monsters’ top line, comprised of C Zac Dalpe, LW Eric Robinson and RW Paul Bittner is off to a torrid pace to start the 2018-19 season. Not only are Dalpe (7-4-11), Robinson (4-4-8) and Bittner (2-5-7) the top three scorers on Cleveland’s roster so far this season, their combined production of 13-13-26 accounts for 45% of the Monsters’ goals this season and nearly 35% of the team’s total points.
  • POWER OUTAGE: If the Monsters aim to defeat the Marlies on Friday, they’ll look to boost Cleveland’s overall power-play percentage (8.8%, 31st) which currently ranks last in the AHL so far this season.
