Monsters Take on IceHogs to Cap Road Stand

In the third of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Rockford IceHogs, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks, on Saturday with full coverage, live from BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford, IL, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-3 road overtime loss to the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter today’s game at 5-3-1-0 on the season. With a .611 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank second in the AHL’s North Division standings and third in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (6-3-9), LW Eric Robinson (4-3-7) and LW Paul Bittner (1-5-6).

ICEHOGS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 5-2 home win over the San Antonio Rampage on Wednesday, the Rockford IceHogs enter today’s game at 4-2-1-0 on the season. With an .643 points percentage, the IceHogs currently rank fourth in the AHL’s Central Division standings and seventh in the Western Conference. Rockford is led in scoring by RW Dylan Sikura (2-5-7), C Tyler Sikura (4-2-6) and LW Matthew Highmore (3-3-6).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the third of four meetings between the Monsters and IceHogs this season and the first of two meetings between the two teams at BMO Harris Bank Center this year.
