KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- JOLTIN’ JORDAN: The Monsters have been enjoying consistent production from LW Jordan Schroeder as of late. Not only is Schroeder scoring at a point per game pace vs. San Diego this season (2 GP, 2-0-2), but the former first-round pick (Vancouver 2009, 22nd overall), has five points to his credit (2G, 3A) in his past five appearances for Cleveland.
- AMAZING ALEX: Monsters leading scorer Alex Broadhurst continues to pace Cleveland offensively. The Orland Park, IL native is currently in the midst of a three-game point streak (3-1-4), has eight points to his credit (4G, 4A) in his past six games played, and is scoring at a point per game pace vs. San Diego this season (2 GP, 1-1-2).
- KEEP YOUR COOL: Cleveland will try to maintain their composure on Sunday and try to avoid the penalty box vs. the Gulls on Sunday as San Diego’s overall power-play currently leads the league at 22.0% and the Gulls’ road power-play also ranks in the league’s top-ten (19.6%, 8th) so far this season.
