Monsters Head to Binghamton to take on the Devils

In the first of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Binghamton Devils, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, on Saturday with full coverage, live from Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 4-3 road win over the Utica Comets on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter today’s game at 4-2-0-0 on the season. With a .667 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank second in the AHL’s North Division standings and sixth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (5-2-7), LW Eric Robinson (3-2-5) and LW Nathan Gerbe (0-5-5).

DEVILS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 0-4 home loss to the Syracuse Crunch on Friday, the Binghamton Devils enter today’s game at 3-3-0-0 on the season. With a .500 points percentage, the Devils currently rank tied for third in the AHL’s North Division standings and tied for seventh in the Eastern Conference. Binghamton is led in scoring by D Yegor Yakolev (0-7-7), RW Nick Lappin (4-1-5) and C Brett Seney (0-5-5).
