Monsters Go Head to Head with Amerks at the Q

In the third of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres, on Saturday with full coverage, live from The Q, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-3 road loss to the Rochester Americans on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 13-10-3-0 on the season. With 29 points, the Monsters currently rank fourth in the AHL’s North Division standings and ninth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (13-12-25), LW Nathan Gerbe (5-15-20) and LW Eric Robinson (9-8-17).

AMERKS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 3-1 home win over the Cleveland Monsters on Friday, the Rochester Americans enter tonight’s game at 17-7-2-0 on the season. With 36 points, the Amerks currently rank first in the AHL’s North Division standings and second in the Eastern Conference. Rochester is led in scoring by D Zach Redmond (14-9-23), LW Victor Olofsson (8-14-22), RW Alexander Nylander (7-13-20) and LW C.J. Smith (7-13-20).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the third of eight games between the Monsters and Americans this season and the first of four meetings between the two teams at The Q this year.
