Monsters Continue Weekend Road Trip with Rocket Rematch

In the eighth of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Laval Rocket, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens, on Friday with full coverage, live from Place Bell in Laval, QC, underway at 7:30 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-0 road win over the Laval Rocket on Wednesday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 35-26-7-2 on the season. With 79 points, the Monsters currently rank fourth in the AHL’s North Division standings and eighth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (30-21-51), C Mark Letestu (19-25-44) and D Adam Clendening (4-32-36).

ROCKET PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 0-5 home loss to the Cleveland Monsters on Wednesday, the Laval Rocket enter tonight’s game at 28-31-6-6 on the season. With 68 points, the Rocket currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Laval is led in scoring by C Alex Belzile (17-35-52), C Jake Evans (13-32-45) and C Daniel Audette (14-23-37).

SEASON SERIES: Friday marks the eighth of eight meetings between the Monsters and Rocket this season and the fourth of four clashes between the two clubs at Place Bell this year.
