Monsters Clash with Senators on Chuck-A-Bear Night

In the second of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Belleville Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, on Saturday with full coverage, live from The Q, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 6-3 home win over the Belleville Senators on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 15-10-4-0 on the season. With 34 points, the Monsters currently rank fourth in the AHL’s North Division standings and eighth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (14-13-27), LW Nathan Gerbe (6-15-21) and LW Eric Robinson (10-9-19).

SENATORS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 3-6 road loss to the Cleveland Monsters on Friday, the Belleville Senators enter tonight’s game at 13-16-2-0 on the season. With 28 points, the Senators currently rank eighth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 15th in the Eastern Conference. Belleville is led in scoring by RW Drake Batherson (7-16-23), LW Paul Carey (5-18-23) and LW Rudolfs Balcers (13-9-22).

SEASON SERIES: Friday marks the second of eight meetings between the Monsters and Senators this season and the second of four clashes between the two teams at Quicken Loans Arena this year.
