Monsters Clash with the Belleville Senators on the Road

In the fourth of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Belleville Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, on Friday with full coverage, live from CAA Arena in Belleville, ON, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-2 home win over the Rochester Americans on Tuesday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 23-21-5-1 on the season. With 52 points, the Monsters currently rank sixth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by LW Nathan Gerbe (10-22-32), C Zac Dalpe (15-14-29) and C Alex Broadhurst (8-21-29).

SENATORS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 3-0 home win over the Syracuse Crunch on Wednesday, the Belleville Senators enter tonight’s game at 25-23-2-3 on the season. With 55 points, the Senators currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and tenth in the Eastern Conference. Belleville is led in scoring by RW Drake Batherson (16-30-46), C Logan Brown (12-21-33) and C Filip Chlapik (14-13-27).

SEASON SERIES: Friday marks the fourth of eight meetings between the Monsters and Senators this season and the second of four meetings between the two teams at CAA Arena this year.
